About Me
My name is Holly Wells, and as well as being a self professed fan of all things bright, soft, and adorable, I am a pet portrait artist living and working in Kent with my pet rats and degus.
My childhood adoration for all things animal never faded even as I started my first tentative steps into adulthood. Combine that with a passion for doodling with any medium I could get my mitts on, these loves led rather naturally to a career sketching and painting pet and wildlife portraits.
Most recently I have taken a keen interest in watercolours, and this has become my medium of choice when recreating people's much loved pets and family onto canvas. There aren't many animals that I've not tried my hand at drawing, and though pet rats and dogs take up the bulk of my portfolio, I relish the challenge to draw any of your precious pets.
When I'm not painting, you can find me snuggled up on the sofa with my rats, the darling critters that started this entire venture.
